My honest to God opinion is that in many ways parents are responsible for this. Yes I do realize that it is hard to get away from all the CocaCola or Pepsi ads, but still, explaining and not caving in on kids demands is a good start – try alternatives, there are many out there as tasty and way more healthy!

Organic Food: More Expensive, Same Nutrition?

First and foremost – the question raised in this video is if organic food has more nutrition – why would it??? And who claimed otherwise? It has never been about nutrition value of organic food, it was always about what chemicals and bug spray’s it does not contain. Who implanted the idea that organic food should be more nutritious in the first place? There is no difference in calories – organic salad will have same value as non-organic but it will contain far less chemicals that are harmful for the body (and mind!). We are what we eat, more than in one sense!
